The Citrus County Tax Collector Office, in partnership with Aaron A. Weaver Chapter 776, Military Order of the Purple Heart, recently raised $5,450.74 for the benefit of the Citrus County Veterans Foundation, Inc. mission of providing immediate financial assistance to needy honorably discharged veterans and their surviving spouses. Since the inception of the partnership in 2004, the Tax Collector Office has raised over $37,600 in support of the Foundation's mission.
